Did God really create everything in six literal 24-hour days? Is this what the Bible actually teaches? Were those days of Genesis 1 literal days? Or could there be allegory or metaphor involved here? Well if one takes God's Word as written, according to the type of literature and language used, God created everything in six literal twenty four hour days. We need to take God at his word. The main reason so many Christians and Christian leaders don't accept the six literal days is because they've been impacted by man's belief in millions of years based on naturalism (atheism) and try to fit that into God's infallible Word.
