Philly doesn't need a heated rivalry to sell tickets, it needs a reason to care about the booking. Punk's last three major feuds ended in injury or controversy, so they're burning through this match way too fast.

I liked the first promo battle between CM Punk and Kevin Owens, but at the same time, I don't want WWE/Triple H to tell the same story they did with Seth, Roman, and Drew. Even though Kevin has his own issues, either way, this is good for SmackDown/WWE Championship.

Kevin has to win, and he should be the hero in this story.

Really good segment between Kevin Owens and CM Punk. Storylines always feel better when there's a little bit of tension between the superstars involved and I genuinely believe these two don't like each other. I can't wait for their title match. I know it’s not new but I like how in HHH’s WWE they allow talent to drop swear bombs hear and there. It adds more realism to the product and the program. Because it’s something that’s not seen in WWE very often it comes off as authentic depending on the delivery

The beef between the two stemmed from CM Punk body shaming KO for wearing a tshirt whilst in ROH in 2005 . I'm pretty sure Punk called KO a "Fat piece of shit" when leaving.
