"Akufo-Addo's government is better than Mahama's government." – Bernard Anbataayela Mornah Before 2025, farming became so lucrative that a bag of maize at the farm gate cost 800 cedis. We all aggressively invested in it, and I had to increase my farm from 200 acres to 500 acres. Now, this year, we can't even do 200 acres because the maize is in the barns and we haven't sold it. We use the money from sales to buy inputs. Host: So does it mean that Akufo-Addo's government was better than Mahama's? Bernard: Of course, but two things. Under Akufo-Addo, the School Feeding Programme took up more of the maize. Now, maybe the Finance Minister is trying to hold onto the money so the economic fundamentals look good. They look good, but the farmers are suffering. Host: It means Akufo-Addo was better than Mahama. Bernard: Of course, because we sold it at 800 cedis then, and today we are struggling to sell it at 300. So my focus now is on animal husbandry. He spoke to Tungsung Radio 97.3 in Wa.

One time I picked up a bolt from our supply and just because it was nuclear certified it cost $2500 and looked like a bolt I could buy from Lowe’s for $2.

I used to sell a bag of maize at 1,000 Cedis, and cement was 100 Cedis, so I could buy 10 bags. Today, a bag of maize is 400 Cedis, and with the slight reduction in cement prices, I still have to find additional cash to buy 10 bags. - A farmer in the Bono Region.

Technically, if it can’t hold this 50-day… and also it depends on what kind of time frame you have. if it can bounce, hold the rising higher low here and bounce off this 50-day, that would be a good sign. But if it starts breaking lower, I would seriously consider reconsidering having a long position in this thing. You’ve been nibbling on the way down. Okay, so you’re just randomly buying things on the way down? That’s not a good strategy. What are you gonna do if TDOC goes to 120? You’re gonna buy all the way down? What if it goes to 100? What’s your exit area? I would buy them on strength, not on weakness That’s my five cents. I wouldn’t buy these things on weakness.”

I don't know what's going on here at home😭😭😭 I buy rice, store it in the cupboard and when I go to cook, I find it full of these little creatures. And before anyone says: it's not a lack of hygiene, you know? I clean the cupboard practically all the time. The worst part is that I don't even buy rice from dubious brands. Now my doubt is: WHERE do these creatures come from?! Because I've already decided that I'm going to wage a war against them. Has anyone else been through this or was I the chosen one this time?😭
