There's a time when the building wasn't there at all and millions of people witnessed and photographed it being built from the ground up. Along with architectural plans. And other documentation of every phase of development. Go home.

Wow some days are windier than others. You learn something new every day huh?

The maker of this video knows nothing about shaping and cladding sheet metal around curved surfaces, nor do they seem to understand it isn't windy all the time. They seem to be implying the Chrysler building belongs to a previous civilization. That's just silly

This is the stupidest post i've ever seen from someone who's never worked metal before or taken pride in anything they've ever done. Construction workers risk their lives all the time. It's fun. When you do it consistently, it wears the edge off and you get big balls

Please tell me you’re trolling for attention. Having been in this industry, it’s real enough. Too many gen z can’t comprehend the shit that use to be done. OSHA put a stop to the cowboy way of building buildings.

When the Chrysler building was being built there weren’t nowhere near as many high rises surrounding as today. The new surrounding building create a very strong draft between the buildings creating the wind. Back then there weren’t enough buildings to create this strong draft

I work at one of the top 5 tallest buildings in Manhattan. Every day i have to do rounds to inspect all exterior doors on the roof. Some days there is wind some days its calm. For reference my building towers over the Chrysler building.

deep thinkers are incapable of having the thought of duality. the concept of a windy day vs a not windy day is alien to them.

Have you ever worked with sheet metal? After you create the sheet form and then place it....where it goes...and it's not a perfect fit.. you use a jammer/mallet to bang on the bend area to solely form it to fit better. Also frequent turbulence infers not all the time

Tell me you have zero knowledge about anything, without telling me.... Are people really this dumb? Do they actually believe that this is a hoax? Have none of you watched how metal is worked on?

Evidently nobody here has ever seen how metal is shaped for welding, and it shows hahahaha

LOCAL 1 Here! I hang on the side of these building everyday. There’s a slight hum coming from the sky like a big ceiling fan is blowing all of the wind in our cities Around 5 a.m. everyday, you can hear a giant switch get turned on for the spotlight that they call the “Sun” 🙄

Some people literally show you how dumb they are. Never been on a mountain eh? An observation deck? Seen heavy smoke rise straight up? The wind isnt always blowing 50 mph at 800 feet.

😆😆😆😂😂😂😂 wow people believe anything. It’s a trade called dressing I.E ( lead dressing , copper dressing , list goes on and on we see this type of stuff done around heavy pieces of steel exposed rain constantly and now I’ve explained this I’ve just lost 2 minutes of my times I’ll never get back. 👍🏼

The girl with the umbrella is a double exposure. Kinda like editing a photo in paint except you do it with the negatives and scissors. You devlop two photos that have been spliced to gether. Nobody thinks some woman stood on a building in the wind but you.

Tapping on already finished piece, it's bcz it's already finished and they were pretending to work for camera. I have seen it (pretend to do work) when companies record promotional videos with employees or workers.

What a fucking bellend video. What happens in ANY workplace when a camera is pulled out. People are told to ‘work’ so they pretend to be doing the day to day But it’s false for the camera. It wasn’t ’hidden camera footage’ it was ‘lights camera action, hammer the metal’ etc
