Things only asian can understand

I worked restocking at a grocery story when I was a teen, so getting the items from the back of the row is something I learned very quickly and still do.

First is because supermarket put soon expired stuff in the front. Second is even if the cup is clean, dust still collects over time so a quick rinse for safety. Third, Chinese people cares most about food, or rather lack there of, so it is polite to ask have you eat, mean do you need financial help. Fourth, fighting for bill shows the how much we value the friendship over money. The last one, i assume is measure the waist size?

I don’t see much wrong with this, I always do the first two, to me it’s just common sense. Especially the first one, you always take from the back.

I’m Asian, I don’t know the last one…

Dont be delusional… we do this as well

"Fighting aggressively for the Bill" No Way Asians do this.

No, that’s just only a lingling thing

Black people are the actual kings of the first one. The reason is because whatever it is is colder in the back.

1/ Always assume the staff put soon to expire products in the front line, and put new products behind those. No matter if it's just 1 month difference. 2/ Dust may gather while the cup sitting there. 3/ Just like "How are you?"

Most of these are just a proxy for >100 iq

I thought everyone did this

1. Fifo principles. supermarket put old stock in front. you could get longer ED product in the back 2. Hygiene. clean doesnt necessarily hygiene 3. Caring. Food is love. Love is food 4. Measuring pants on the the neck is substitution to measuring waist in length

Not the pants. 🤣

Why is it that when ever u guys smile we no longer see ur eyes

I do all these thing lol

The person that doesn't understand seems to be the "vary smart" author ...

everything except the last one

I just wanna say, grabbing stuff at the back of the shelf in a grocery store is not just an asian thing. American's do it too. It's because those items are usually the freshest/have the farthest out best buy date.

😂 I do them all except fight for the bill.

For a second I was worried about being Asian. Items in the back have longer expiration date, and rinsing gets rid of dust that could be inside mugs.

Oh yeah because I just love paying for older milk, when the fresher stuff at the back is literally exactly the same price.

Fighting aggressively over the bill 🤣😂🤣 asian don't do that, Arabs are the one doing it

i know y i reach for products fm the back ... bcoz that's the newer stock with a longer expiry date!

I do this also being from Asia Minor.

i do all of these things

1&2 is normal for all around the world

British here. The first three i do all the time, so guess I'm half Asian? Back of the shelf=Fresher/Better date Rinsing washed item=Possible dust/soap on it Asking if you've eaten?=Let's Eat and talk! Though TBH cup of tea is the go to normally.

I really hate fighting for bills, but it also looks really bad if you are the only one not fighting. I tried to fake toilet run and pay the bill early, but then my friends caught on... long story short, I don't go out to eat with my friends any more.

I am serbian and I understand everything except wrapping pants around neck. I guess there is some asian DNA in my system.

I make fresh grab and go pizzas at a grocery store and I hate when people dig through them and mess them up. They are all made the same day, the same way. You are not getting anything fresher by moving them around and grabbing one in the middle. Just look at the damn dates.

Back of the shelf has is a good one i use to work in a market you put the newest product im the back to sell the oldest first and then you rotate them

Number one is not asian only. We in Europe do it also.

I do all of that

I do some of those and not Asian
