Oh, man. I would love to try this out! So many cool stories you could tell using the real world as a backdrop.

Please tell me this doesn't use Seedance in the background pipeline. I'm hungry for something new.

Nice final result! The user has to "upload" a video and wait a few minutes for it to process before receiving the finished video, but the result is impressive nonetheless!

First look at the new Simulon. Pt 1: You can clone reality now. I photographed a vulture in a museum. Pulled it out of the display and brought it to life. You can turn any photo into a neural asset and capture it with photorealistic detail. End to end on iPhone and Android.

A few months back, we teased clips from our upcoming VFX app, Simulon. We've since been hard at work making Simulon the most powerful, robust, and intuitive VFX workflow available. This weekend, we'll begin granting access to select creators. Simulon is now able to produce videos that are indistinguishable from reality - can you spot which objects on the table are real and which were added with Simulon? Watch to the end to see if you're right. A thread 🧵

You noticed the bulb in the bathroom was out and finally go change it to find the bulb wasn’t even in the receptacle. Upon further inspection you see that there is a camera in its place. Their sends you into a rage, everyone uses this shower and this camera could have been used to peep in on anyone. How do you proceed to get to the bottom of things?

Here’s how Simulon Reality-Aware Rendering works. I placed my raptor next to the water and dropped a stone in to see how he’d respond. His 3D placement sets his starting position and scale. When the recording starts, he becomes a ghost, leaving me to shape the performance through actions, gestures and spoken instructions. Simulon uses the recorded scene to generate his behaviour and integrate him into the footage afterward. Instead of typing a prompt, spinning the slot machine and hoping for the best, you can show it, say it and perform it. Your intent, timing and spatial context are right there in the recording. It’s a much more intuitive way to create. This breakdown is generated procedurally, summarising the actual reasoning behind the result.

In The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), Steve Carell says the waxing scene was “100 percent real.” “We hired a woman who wasn’t a professional waxer. So, if you watch closely there is one close up where you can see blood actually bleeding to the surface. So that was not CGI.” “And when I pitched it to Judd, I thought, it really should be real. It should be legitimate waxing.” “I thought, to see them waxing at me in pain would probably be the funniest thing in the scene.” “Because there’s this guy thing where there is this sadistic nature that men have to see other men in life-threatening pain.” “It really did hurt. And a lot of the women in the crew were very aware of what would happen and they would say, ‘You sure you don’t want to trim your hair down a bit? It will hurt less.”

This is worse than we thought. Originally I thought it was hidden in the bill and most who voted for it didn’t know it was in there. Now they are made aware and have the opportunity to remove it, and they REFUSE. This is NOT ok.

🚨PALMER LUCKEY: "Legacy Media is freaked out. Elon is saying to people 'You are the media now.' In the modern world you now have the tools to get your message out. We can be primary sources, we don't need intermediaries. Then you see the National Press Club crashing out and saying 'It doesn't matter what Elon says, they are not the press! We are the press!' This guy is so out of touch with the American moment. Who is going to hear that and say 'Yeah, he's right! How dare citizen journalists report on things!"

Kinzinger: To me, it was very personal, very, very difficult for my family and me. And so you see some of that in the film. But most importantly, what this is, is a warning to America. You’ll see this in the film again — we lay out a very compelling case against Trump. But it shows, again, that what I did wasn’t courageous — it was just my job. There is, though, an intense cost to that. You see that cost laid out in this film, and it shows why, when people say, “Why don’t other Republicans speak out?” — this brings home that there is a cost to doing so. And we need to, frankly, elect and hire people who are willing to do tough things
