Things they took away that barely anyone noticed…

I still use physical media (movies, music, etc.) as much as possible and despise cloud storage. Some people tell me I am stuck in the past and maybe I am, but I just feel like it's better for me to not rely on technology for the sake of convenience.

Nice! I’m not that technologically savvy.

Anymore, I'm not either. My parents really pushed technology on me in the 80's / 90's, they said it was the future (I mean, they weren't wrong...), but at a certain point, I just started rejecting it. Anything past around 2010 or so makes little sense to me...! 🤣

@brandilwells So how do you listen to music as I got rid of all my cd into iTunes and then apple got rid of iTunes as I have lost thousands of songs from my cd. Now I have to have Bluetooth or WiFi turned on in order to listen to music. So I don’t. Not like I once did anyways.

@brandilwells I kept all of my CD's and just continue buying them for new or more music.

It‘s how they added chemtrails to old movies.

Unbelievable

Remember when it used to be called 'My Computer' but now it says 'This PC'. That's not by accident.

👀

Go to pawnshops they have DVD's VCR'S and all the movies you can watch for very cheap when my son was growing up that is the only way we watched movies, cartoons, etc and we don't like iPhones never own one, we use Motorola or Sony, there you can find music, movies etc

I’m constantly looking for stuff that I absolutely know I had folders for or what folders they were in and it’s on the cloud. They are deleting stuff from my cloud. Not stupid stuff either..

I noticed Samsung removed memory cards. Currently Motorola still has that option. So I quit buying Samsung a couple years ago. I noticed YouTube movies are edited, deleting parts that don't even make sense. I noticed that dvd and blueray plyers no longer have streaming apps.

I still have data on 1.44MB floppy disks (and yes i have a reader that works lol) 👽🤔💾

Cars for clunkers was a scam to remove all the good, easy-to-work-on cars.

THEY TOOK AWAY ALL YOUR OWNERSHIP .. Now You Are a RENTER❗️

They also got rid of CD’s so we now must have Bluetooth or WiFi turned on in order to listen to music. They got rid of plasma tvs so we now only have Light emiting diode tvs. Yeah they have got us all by the balls and they have used technology to do it. Under the guise of this is better for you.

Okay, build your own Linux server with a few TB of storage. Put your stuff on there, you can access it from anywhere, you’re off their grid. Problem solved. Stop buying in to the new car BS.

They've ALREADY started editing the MUSIC from older movies. WTF??

In order to integrate and move forward, I must acknowledge my consent. I opted in. Now I'm opting out.

I just bought a Kodak phone printer and printed all my favorite pics and memories out and making a photo album

i have a HD full of Movies and Music that they can never take away. And in a digital world with movies and music you can download it free if you know how. Dont have to give them a penny.

Don’t worry my g, I have the patriot on dvd like a real American

Yes , Its disgusting and now they're forcing us to buy phones that's AI stocked bloatware and use Google shit Apps with Samsung . I think Android is dead people.

They’ve been doing it for years, Rambo III was set in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 where Rambo was there to help the Taliban against the Russians 🇷🇺 In the closing credits on VHS tape, the American 🇺🇸 government on US letterhead, thanks their brothers the Taliban. This was removed after 911

when will they Notice when will they CARE

You don’t own anything in Web2. Your data lives on servers controlled by Big Tech. Web3 sovereign cloud changes that. Own your data. Own your applications. Eliminate vendor lock-in.

When you put your stuff on the cloud, it no longer is yours. Read the agreements. Your recycle bin on windows, yeah that's considered the same as your garbage can outside. When you clear it becomes theirs.

I still run the micro, Can't stand the cloud! Long live OWNERSHIP 😆

It's call an external hard-drive, get one put your stuff on it. One time charge is the purchase.

I said this when ebooks took off and then bookstores went bankrupt the year after. I literally said watch literacy decline over the years this was back in like 2010 right when apple had everyone in a chokehold.

FB's new AI police patrol system that false ban my account with no proper appeals left quickly made me realize despite using it for 20 years, I own nothing 💀

I noticed but what was noticing going to do 🤷♀️

I’m 1 of them who DID notice @ the point when they started “offering” digital versions of things. Mainly video games/movies & I said it to my family, while they were dishing out $$, for literally air. Nothing. Just the use of a download that eventually hardrives can’t accommodate

I shifted to my own server 4 years ago, buying movies and music, taking pictures and storing it ALL on my own hardware. A little investment but it pays off in the long run

They need everything digital so they can control us 👁️

I can still put a memory card in my Sony duel SIM as well so it's not in UK that I'm aware of unless it iPhone

I think it’s just iPhone

And also in a cloud you have no privacy

I don't use Cloud Storage. I backup my phone to my computer, then backup my computer to an external drive. Wrote a backup routine to monitor selected directories, watch for new or updated files, copy them to the external drive and reset the archive bit.

Money. (Ownership.) Now,you do not own what you buy. You are “licensed user”. It’s because every time you shared a cd, dvd, video game on disc, the corporations didnt make any money on the second transaction.

Remember that the last administration wanted to get rid of gas cars and built no charging stations ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yea it's so hard to find headphones with micro card slots anymore now, all i want to do is listen to my mix and not have to connect to bluetooth and then to the stupid Iphone which has no memory or any data left on my prepaid yea FU Australia Telstra you joke of a.. FFS
