Every day, you are given a choice to make. Do you want to do the hard things required to improve? Or do you want to do the easy things and degrade? The choice is yours.

Tomorrow marks the Day of Arafah on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, serving as a profound reflection of the Day of Resurrection. The temperature is anticipated to reach 45°C, the highest recorded in 139 years. Millions of pilgrims gather shoulder-to-shoulder on the plains of Arafat, donned in simple white garments. These garments symbolize the equality of all before Allah stripped of wealth and status paralleling the condition of every individual on Judgment Day. This act serves as a humbling reminder for us all to reflect on the transient nature of worldly possessions. It is advised to observe fasting, raise supplications, seek forgiveness, and engage in deep reflection. May Allah accept the worship and supplications of the pilgrims and all of us. Amen.

“Most people on the left are not opposed to freedom. They are just in favor of all sorts of things that are incompatible with freedom. Freedom ultimately means the right of other people to do things that you do not approve of.” — Thomas Sowell
