Why do they make their voice like that? They all do this it’s totally weird.

I bet this guy is an absolute delight.

How do people who spend so much time in the Bible miss the gospel?

Pro-tip: If they change their voice to “preach”, it’s not preaching— it’s a performance

"You can't drink your beer and be a Christian"? Manmade legalism, and no Gospel.

You can't drink your beer and be a Christian, Private Pyle!

Thankfully he's not using a speaker and no one can hear him.

So... What about Paul? Or Ray Comfort? or I mean.. there's quite a few... Or are we supposed to say in fear hidden in the upper room? Not saying I Condone it, seem my share of annoying street preachers, but do we really shame it also? Where's the line you are prepared to draw?

Not even the ruckmanites take it that far...

Somebody needs to explain to him that the Bible condemns drunkenness, not alcohol itself. Saying you can’t drink at all and be a Christian is his rule, not God’s. And one Michelob Ultra is not getting me drunk.

Controversial but I love people this on fire for the Lord!

I would to see his scripture reference for not drinking beer.

Yall would’ve hated John the Baptist

Real Christianity never was, never will be about selling fire insurance. Its about spreading the word of the GOOD news, not mob threatening others into believing.

I can’t hear the video but is he lieing or is he telling the truth ? If truth does it matter his delivery?

Street preaching in foreign countries and USA is part of fulling The Great Commission. These are all in foreign cities. Authentic believers preached the gospel wherever they are, you don’t need a pulpit. Most people don’t even know how to share the good news of Christ Jesus. They have to be taught. People who are joyful about their salvation will most definitely want to The Good News wherever they are

I can totally see if you don’t like somebody’s preaching style—You can comment on that, but open air preaching? Seriously? This is all Jesus and the apostles did was open air preaching. I would assume if it was good enough for them then why wouldn’t it be for us. David Lynn Jeff Derbin Ray Comfort I can go on and on. These pastors have had a bigger impact than your pastors X 1000000

I'm a firm believer in what Peter says in 1 Peter 3:15: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear..." One aspect of this persecution from the context of this passage. However, it is applicable to all aspects of sharing our Christian witness. The key aspect is are you living the life of HIS righteousness. Does your Spirit bear witness with his that you're his child? In this scenario with this guy preaching on a bench, did anyone ask him? No. I believe in tent revivals in areas unreached and people come and they listen. They may come for different reasons but the seeds are sowed. I've seen cases of street preaching like this. It inevitably leads to what we shouldn't do as Christians drift from sharing the gospel decently and in order. We want to win them not fight with them. We want to debate them not argue with them. We might as well go home and do something else.

This brings about the same number people to Jesus as leaving bible tracts on the urinals at Walmart. Nobody ever starts their testimony with "well, I was at Walmart and I had had a lot of coffee..." or "I was late to class but then I heard some dude yelling about sin..."

He appears to be a glory hound who uses religion as a tool for self validation and aggrandizement.

And then didn't even preach the truth. Luke 7: 31 “To what can I compare the people of this generation?” Jesus asked. “How can I describe them? 32 They are like children playing a game in the public square. They complain to their friends, ‘We played wedding songs, and you didn’t dance, so we played funeral songs, and you didn’t weep.’ 33 For John the Baptist didn’t spend his time eating bread or drinking wine, and you say, ‘He’s possessed by a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man, on the other hand, feasts and drinks, and you say, ‘He’s a glutton and a drunkard, and a friend of tax collectors and other sinners!’ 35 But wisdom is shown to be right by the lives of those who follow it.”

Me drinking my beer and being a Christian:

Apparently, this "preacher" has never actually read that book he holds in his hands.

Jesus will carry your sin to the cross in the cargo pockets of those pants.

How can Christians hate 30s *(out of context)* of the preaching of the Law that brings conviction of sin, leading men to Christ to be justified by grace? Gal 3:24 Was he answering a drunk claiming to be a Christian? Or a hedonist saying Jesus wants him happy? We dont know.

I see them on Facebook and it makes me cringe. All I can think about is how many people they’ve pushed completely away sharing their legalism.

Back in my day, they wore three piece suits and didn’t look like a frat boy when they did this. Even street preachers are compromising standards.

He's false preaching.

“You can’t drink your beer and be a Christian.” Jesus takes a sip of wine after making several barrels of it for a wedding and says, “when did I say that?” I don’t love this approach to evangelism but I won’t say it’s bad. What is, is mixing your legalism into your doctrine.

Seriously dump the KJV wording from your vocabulary. But more importantly don't "preach" like a Pharisee.

It’s usually preaching a form of law and hell. If they were really proclaiming Christ that would be better. Even Jesus didn’t pick his 12 disciples and immediately give them the deep truths. These guys always think they are John the Baptist telling Herod he’s a sinner.

Dude needs to drink a beer and chill out.

You oppose this as I do yet are silent about Imam's in the street shouting death to America under the guise of their "religion" - interesting

Why? Nothing wrong with what he is doing. Thats a very odd statement coming from a Christian.

Independent fundamental baptists haven’t read 1 Cor 13.
