Things went up pretty fast here… but this is a spirited conversation, do you agree with him that only a man can raise a male child into a man?

As a man who grew up being raised by a loving, hard-working single mother, I can say that he's right. She did her best, but if I didn't do my own learning, I'd be a feminine wimp.

The numbers speak for themselves. Single mothers, especially black single mothers, statistically raise horrible people.

The fact that this is up for a discussion is crazy, another Fun fact, an ‘intentional’ responsible father can raise both boy & girl into a stand up man & lady, even though its good for both parents to be in the child’s life.. Mind you i said Intentional for a reason..

It all started about 20 years ago. I used to see this older gentleman at a coffee shop, always meeting with young men, and it left an impression on me. This is stupid. Thousands of men if not millions of men have been raised by women.

He’s going to be a man regardless. It’s about what kind of man you would like for him to be. This rhetoric I assume is what we let black women define us as “REAL men” in which anything lesser than being a subject and worshipper to femininity equates to being a lesser man. In which case, the goal post for subjecting oneself to being a servant according to her whims, will always and consistently be moved to unsuccessfully satiate her need to be perpetually… happy. STATISTICALLY, women can’t raise upstanding citizens of masculinity; they raise criminals, fuk bois, womanizers, and emotionally aggressive MEN, but they are men nonetheless. Women can’t raise hood people by themselves (generally), because a husband brings structure and order.
