Well, I'm 37 but the gangsta rap and trap music when I was coming up (90's and 2000's) was just entertainment to me. It didn't make me want to be a gangsta in any way. A lot of people are just stupid if you ask me. I'm the product of my environment but it doesn't define me. Gangsta Rap was a term created by the government because they thought that NWA were a gang. It was referred to as reality rap before that. Spoonie Gee, Schoolly D., Ice T. and Kool G. Rap were among the forefathers.
