Thinking about a 3D printed house

I don't know if it's true but I heard they don't hold up well. That some of these houses are already degrading significantly.

I'd be concerned about the long-term depending on the location.

It would be sick because its always awesome when Boats etc have that furniture that was clearly built as part of the boat, it all merges together with the walls etc. When you 3D print a house you can do the same thing for cheap and make some beautiful merged shapes

👀 wow almost makes me think we already had this technology at one point and that's where all the crazy unexplained architecture in history comes from.

Aint these the houses they built after Katrina?

It's the same cost as brick but provides less jobs. Cool story

As much as I love 3d printing. I dont think they turned out well for the long run

Would t that be wild. You could literally design any thing but imagine if it was that quick and easy to do that new homes for low income or homeless could be built. Things in a world I could dream of. But for now let’s let our imagination run wild.

Crackers lol

Do it, but budget for everything the printer doesn't do. Walls go up fast. Roof, MEP and finishes still take the usual time and money. What's the climate where you'd build?

I know a guy who invested in a similar company 6 years ago

What happens when the concrete starts cracking? Structural integrity? And how does one repair such?
