Thinking about that time HBO’s “Girls” attempted to normalize abortion as “women’s empowerment,” but all I could see is the devastating reaction of a father-to-be who just found out his baby was murdered.

To the Quote Tweeters - I see you, and I thank you for seeing what I am seeing.

Normalize making women in film look like horrible people for killing their unborn child.

@Revelations1617 No wonder he turned to the dark side

Were they trying to make him look bad??

Apparently the writers of this scene want us to to have sympathy for the woman talking about aborting *THEIR* child like she's talking about the weather.

There is nothing moral or normal about murder

Interesting how honestly they portray the woman as a heartless monster here. The character of the boyfriend in the show should’ve just put a stop to it.

Guy's reaction is real.

My friend and I were just casually chatting on the phone once, reminiscing. I was recalling a certain event, and remembered that an ex-girlfriend of his was present, but I couldn't remember her name. His response: "Oh, that was Natalie, the bitch that murdered my child."

Two and a half long years ago, I told my ex that the chances I would get an abortion if I got pregnant were 99.99%. I was confused when he got upset, and worried he was too Conservative for me. Now, I'm an abortion abolitionist. Again and again, entire generations have been indoctrinated to believe that a child in the womb is not a human life, that k*lling your own child in the womb is an inalienable human right/healthcare, and that s*x with zero responsibility is the greatest individual freedom/social good. Homeschool your kids, I beg of you!
