stop asking why i cut the im so lonely part im not the one who made this video…..that watermark says cinema perspective loves not ULTRAGLOSS 😭

why do people cut the "but I'm so lonely" from her monologue? does it make jo seem less brave?

yep, love it, but don’t cut off the end of it !!!! I’m so sick of people cutting off the end. it’s one of the most important parts — you can be strong and independent and still crave love and companionship. it’s also often part of being a woman 🤷🏼♀️

"but im so lonely" 🥺🥺🥺🥺

The BEST PART is always cut off, there’s nothing more brave than being vulnerable

I was waiting for the "but I'm so lonely" part

Why do y’all leave off the end of that monologue. It absolutely drives me crazy and makes me realize how dead media literacy is. Ffs

I always loved this monologue so much, because despite how ruthlessly independent Jo is, it’s not until years later did she realize that her independence made her just as lonely. It’s a beautiful scene. I even love how it hints that she doesn’t even want to love, but be loved.

i've included this monologue in multiple speeches i've given at school, and some essays i've written. it's such a well written and well peformed scene. living in my head rent free fr.

This definitely Greta Gerwig best work imo. Loved the movie but hated the ending ngl
