Thinking about when someone on here described the ending to RRR as Indian Triumph of the Will.

It's so sick though.

The beginning scene where the dude drapes himself in a wet Indian flag so he can swing through flames to rescue a child really set the tone of the whole movie.

Whole movie is just hype moments and aura.

“One of the most dazzling and inventive books I’ve read in a very long time—a novel I continue to describe as indescribable. I’ve now read it twice and can’t decide if it’s a thriller, a farce, a political commentary. I don’t know what it is other than I love it” —Writers at Work

im sure if i knew more i’d be disgusted but to my untrained eye it’s just hype and aura

Here's a picture of the first background guy from his Europe trip in the 40s

I like the scene where the big bad guy gets shot dead and the blood splatter hits the text "The sun never sets on the British empire" painted with a map of Great Britain behind him.

RRR is the best fascist movie ever made

They even appropriated a communist revolutionary in this lol

When people say that right-wingers can't make good art it's like. I appreciate the sentiment but it's clearly not universally true

I appreciate the wide spattering of the politics of people here
