The commentary between Sam Jackson and Craig Nelson is so great. Like love the bit where they have the small argument about who okayed the cartoon rabbit cause their frustration sounds so on point

we need these type of extras to come back. Frozone getting super upset about Mr. Skipperdoo and his general negative comments about this short, with Bob as a commentary partner, are amazing and hilarious. The funniest and best part of the Incredibles 2-disc dvd set

Yeah they made a fake low budget Mr Incredible cartoon, and then wrote a commentary track with Bob and Lucius and had the VAs commentate it in-character. Its a DVD extra and it’s really good

You can tell Samuel L Jackson is losing his shit to the point of almost swearing.

it's actually amazing how well this is written this was all scripted dialogue

I'm surprised that nobody's bringing up the part where they find the bridge, that bit's gold. "Are you kidding me?" "Don't shout." "What kinda show is this?!?" "Hey. You're shouting. Don't shout. :("

This is kind of a perfect example of what I felt was missing from incredible 2. The original had such a believability to its dialogue that just feels too “Disney” in the sequel.

i can’t throw off the feeling that this would be sounding a LOTT more different if the incredibles wasn’t family-friendly

If i remember correctly they got the idea from a 50s or 60s cartoon called Clutch Cargo that used similar animation with realistic mouths.
