for the past 5 years most public sector jobs are nothing more that government make work. They are bureaucratic non productive roles that drive the increase in operating costs and inefficiencies for the private sector along with taxes to pay for them.

This is not the real unemployment rate. Add welfare to that number. The height of the depression was 25%, we are way above that! The government spooks are just borrowing from the future indefinitely to hide it to keep themselves in power.

It’s all cause and effect… The youth are unemployed, because the entry level jobs are being taken by immigrants who probably have post secondary degrees that aren’t recognized by Canadian standards. Canadian colleges and universities are banking on foreign student tuition as well. All of our doctors head south for a better paycheque. We pay for good government, we just seldom get it.
