🚨 “Bloody Friday” in Poland: Police detain 10 people Following several days of attacks and threats at Polish schools, police inspected more than 10,000 educational institutions across the country. In 13 cases, officers found grounds to suspect criminal offenses, most involving online threats. Among those detained was a 13-year-old boy from Warsaw who sent a photo of a knife to a school group chat and threatened another student. Another 14-year-old was detained on school grounds in Warsaw. Police found a concealed-blade knife and 11 firecrackers in his possession. In Józefów, a 14-year-old boy allegedly planned to bring a knife to school, but another student alerted the police. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old student in Warsaw was caught carrying a butterfly knife in his backpack. In the Pruszków district, two 15-year-olds posted a video containing death threats. In Szczytno, a 16-year-old recorded a video threatening specific people, later claiming it was “just a joke.” In Mszczonów, police detained a 15-year-old who had threatened people on social media. Officers also found a sharp object in his possession. Police are now investigating reports of an online challenge allegedly linked to the recent school attacks. So far, there is no evidence confirming such a connection. Authorities fear that rumors spreading online could trigger further threats and copycat incidents.
