Third time posting this bc we don’t give her credit for how safely she singlehandedly ran the biggest tour of the century. She learned how to ask for help in the language of every stop and stopped the show every time it was needed. No one does it like her.

I have to share this life changing story….. Not only is Auntie Patti Labelle an icon and legend and has one of the warmest hearts and spirits…. She did a tour years back around the time SHAME dropped and fans in the audience started posting clips of Patti LaBelle singing Shame in the middle of our concert…. I literally couldn’t believe it….. Nooooo way!!! I was told she loved loved loved SHAME played it everyday!!!! So when I finally got her to thank her for ALL that she is to me and us ALL…. I had to sing it for queen one time live in her kitchen in Philly!
