One allegedly read: “life is better with u gone.” Let that sink in. This wasn’t some random internet critic attacking Rosie O’Donnell. This was the child she raised. Chelsea eventually said she didn’t miss Rosie at all. And when asked whether she loved her? She said she cared about Rosie and hoped she was doing well, but “love is a big word” and she wouldn’t use it. That may be the most devastating statement of all. Because celebrities can hire publicists. They can control interviews. They can build an image for decades.
