For 57 seasons #OpeningDay was revered as a holiday. A celebration of fans hope, tradition, and a pure love of the game. For most Oakland A’s fans, this wasn’t just a team, it was a piece of our hearts. And our hearts were ripped out without any regard, all because of one man’s greed and 29 other owners without a single set of balls. To all the fans with a team, enjoy today…maybe start a “Let’s go Oakland” chant in our memory when the ATH’s hit your city…because FUCK John Fisher!

Fuck you John Fisher, fuck your executive team, fuck Rob Manfred, and to the 29 other owners eat a bag of dicks. RIP

Screw John Fisher, screw the Las Vegas A's, the Sacrawhatever A's, screw Rob Manfred, long live the Oakland A's.

MLB and the SF Giants pushed the A’s out of the Bay Area. Best outcome was a new stadium in Oakland. Second best was one in San Jose. Now we have nothing.

This breaks my heart. I grew up in the East Bay and the As were our team - many fun afternoons as a kid sitting in the cheap bleacher seats. My dearly departed Dad loved the As up until his end. 1/3

The first Fathers' Day after my Dad passed, I went to an As game. On one of the outfield walls was a big "Stanley" sign - coincidentally my Dad's name. 2/3

I spent much of the game looking at that sign and feeling my Dad's presence at the game. It was lovely. Thank you to the As for the great memories. 3/3

A pox on Fischer. Why couldn't he just SELL instead of utterly destroying what was left of the As legacy.
