The 4-year-old, Terrell Miller, was killed by a single gunshot from Macomb PD Lt. Nick Goc. Officers entered after a domestic call where Anthony George had stabbed the boy's mother. George then grabbed the child and held knives to his throat and stomach as a shield. Goc fired once; the bullet struck Terrell in the head before hitting George. Both died at the scene. Reviews called the force justified and the child's death accidental.
