The Presidency appears to be upset because the presidential candidate of the NDC, Peter Obi, called for the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is important to understand that many of the criticisms being made today are not new to Nigerian politics. Similar criticisms and demands were made by opposition figures, including Bola Tinubu himself, during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan. It is also important for Nigerians to remember that the current President was one of the leading figures of the opposition movement that challenged the government of the day and ultimately contributed to a historic political transition. That is why we must continue to speak up, peacefully and lawfully, in pursuit of a better Nigeria. We should not allow those who exercised their right to criticize previous governments to deny others that same right today. A healthy democracy thrives on accountability, constructive criticism, and the freedom of citizens to express their views without fear. The journey toward a better Nigeria must continue.

I am aware that some Igbos living abroad have been financing certain senators in America to persuade President Trump to take action against Nigeria, framing it as a religious issue. This is a tactic aimed at undermining Nigeria and removing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Most of us in abroad are aware if igbo people's plans. However, they will not succeed; many of those senators and representatives are facing elections in November, and I believe they will be gone . “We will not submit to noise, rascality, or disobedience to lawful court orders. We must uphold democracy, respect the judiciary whether it favours us or not, and remain faithful to the principles that hold our nation together. There is no path to national greatness except the path of building one country, one common vision, one shared future of progress and prosperity for all Nigerians. That is what Renewed Hope is about. They cannot scare me off. I have been through this road before and, if I must walk it again and again for our country, I will. There is no better place than Nigeria, and no one will build it for us except ourselves. I have listened. I know the journey is not easy. But I give you my word: I will not run away from this task. I will not give up. Coordinate from the ward level, act as one family, stay focused on what we promised Nigerians, and stand firm.” This was my message to the leadership and coordinators of my Renewed Hope Ambassadors this afternoon.
