Love it. Great metaphor. It's like a Japanese (I think) quote that says something like "if your problem has a solution, why are you worried. If your problem doesn't have a solution, why are you worried"

The longer you hold onto something heavy, be it anger, regret, or fear, the heavier it feels. Emotional burdens may seem manageable at first, but over time they drain your energy and cloud your mind. Letting go isn’t weakness; it’s making space for clarity, peace, and growth. Release what no longer serves you, and you'll find the strength to move forward.

Unfortunately, I need it to get heavier. I seemingly need to get fed up with holding the weight before I want to put it down. Besides if I never realize the weight I’ll never be strong enough to hold it.

The more you hold the past the more you get dragged down.
