This scene is quietly heartbreaking. Kairi is sitting on Destiny Islands talking about Riku, while knowing there’s someone else she’s forgotten. She can’t remember Sora — but somehow she still misses him.

Unreal engine definitely killed the color palette and lighting that gave this game an anime look. Now Kingdom Hearts III an onward looks more Pixar than anime which is sort of a shame.
