This afternoon Ashesi University in conjunction with the Rwanda High Commission in Ghana 🇬🇭 unveiled 2 Monuments in honour of my father, Major General Henry Kwami Anyidoho and his troops for their bravery/gallantry in saving the country from total destruction during the 1994 genocide. To God be the glory 🙏🙏🙏

@FactsOnRwanda Yes. The UN decided to withdraw from Rwanda but General Anyidoho flew back home to Ghana 🇬🇭 and consulted with President Jerry John Rawlings and the Military High Command and cogent reasons were given as to why Ghana could not withdraw.

The pride in always celebrating my father. I was there when President Rawlings decorated him with the Order of the Star of Volta (Bravery & Valour), and when he launched his book, “Guns Over Kigali”. I have always celebrated my real father.

Unfortunately, the urchins don’t know how I celebrated my father long before I got to work with Professor John Atta-Mills. I know how to celebrate my father.
