The people being carried are usually tourists with either terminal illnesses or severe mobility issues but want to see the Gorillas before they die. They pay for the service and it's not forced. If your government had some sense, they would have built cable cars to do that but 🤷‍♂️

Even you as an African, you can pay to be carried if you have the money. Imagine if you had you grandma and wanted them to go and see the wild life but can not keep up the walking pace or climb mountains, wouldn't you pay for them to be carried if you have the money?

The strong and young whites are walking too..but those are just old guys old bones and they have the desires to tour. So the gvment takes money and the guys carrying them gets money exclusive of their monthly pay
