Ron DeSantis tells Donald Trump “Don’t whiz on my leg and tell me it’s raining.” The comment came as DeSantis was mocking Trump for not having Mexico pay for a border wall, after campaigning in 2016 to do so. DeSantis said, “You know, that (Mexico paying for the wall) was promised years ago… [Trump] said that very clearly… Now, he says there was no legal mechanism [he] could have used to make Mexico pay for the wall. Wait a minute. That’s not what [he] said then.” Does DeSantis have a point?

Yesterday as Biden visited Live Oak, Florida to see the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia, he was asked about Governor Ron DeSantis not showing up to tour the area with him. He had every opportunity to attack DeSantis, to make things political, and to likely harm DeSantis politically. Instead Biden took the high road and said, “Well I’m not disappointed. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill into law Monday barring the state’s colleges and universities from spending money on diversity, equity and inclusion programs, and limiting how race can be discussed in many courses. “If you look at the way this has actually been implemented across the country, DEI is better viewed as standing for discrimination, exclusion and indoctrination,” DeSantis said at a news conference at New College of Florida in Sarasota. “And that has no place in our public institutions. This bill says the whole experiment with DEI is coming to an end in the state of Florida.”

Upon arrival in Fort Lauderdale, Tate told reporters “We live in a Democratic society where it’s innocent until proven guilty and I think my brother and I are largely misunderstood.” During a press conference Gov. DeSantis said: “Florida is not a place where you're welcome with that type of conduct,” he said. “Our attorney general is looking into what jurisdictions we have to deal with this.”

🇵🇸 🇬🇧 🇮🇱 This man is yelling at Pro-Palestinian protesters, telling them they are "blind by hate", and that they are protesting because it is "fashionable", and has become "an excuse to hate Jews." While this may apply to some, it definitely does not apply to all who protest in support of the Palestinian cause. Many protesters in any protest will have extreme views and agendas, including Pro-Palestinian protesters promoting hatred, however this does not reflect ALL protesters. Most protesters are advocating for aid to civilians, the protection of the innocent, and improvements to the lives of Palestinians. These are noble causes to fight for. A Pro-Palestinian protester is not pro-Hamas. A Pro-Israeli protester is not anti-Palestinian.
