Money doesn’t directly buy happiness but it allows to buy and do things that will make you happy

Totally agree. One million would change my life and those around me in the most profound way. It would 10x the happiness factor, increase the health quality, provide for further investment and growth. Would you be interested in doing a joint venture in a couple areas?

Exactly Imagine if your wife were to die and the only thing to save her life was money Imagine if it wasn't tragic but you don't spend time with them because your enslaved to a job. Why even have them there in the first place. True it gives them life but you will never experience them growing up or hold memories of them true to the heart. Life sucks but it can get better with money. Until money doesn't make the world go round, you will always be enslaved to it If you have your money work for you than you will have enslaved money and not yourself

Giving someone 10 million and earning 10 million are different things and he knows that. At the core of his argument he is correct but strange execution of words.
