To be fair, even in the past pretty much everyone watching this show hated D.W. unless you were like her. The only punishment she suffered from breaking an expensive model plane that takes time effort and could lead to a future? What Arthur did. They let her off. and he knew they would. He knew she'd get off scot free like always and even rewarded. It was such a bad lesson to teach in a show. She tortured her brother. And the entire episode is how Arthur, who just only stood up for himself, was in the wrong.

Arther told her multiple times not to go into his room not to touch the model plane, what does she do? She goes into his room starts to play with the model aeroplane then she thought it could fly, she throws it out of the window. The parents only give her a slap on the wrist.

I have to side with Arthur here cause I always get in trouble while the other doesn't suffer any consequences.
