Most people don’t have a busy life. They have a busy mind. For 10 minutes, I sit in front of a candle and let my attention rest on the flame. Every time my mind wanders, I gently bring it back. Arguably one of the most powerful practices For years, I thought the answer was more stretching. Then I started doing 20 minutes of Standing Meditation (Zhan Zhuang) every day. Instead of forcing my body into new positions, I gave it something it had been missing: safety. When your nervous system feels safe, your body no longer has to hold unnecessary tension. Your fascia begins to reorganize, your posture changes naturally, and mobility often improves without chasing it. Sometimes it’s not that your body needs a deeper stretch.
