A woman and her husband went to the store to get an Apple gift card for $100. After they got it, they had tried to use it for their iPhone. The opened the package and got the card out, the last few digits on the back of the card are missing and she couldn’t use it. She goes back to the store and speaks to customer service about a refund. Customer service claims they can’t do anything about it because there are no refunds on gift cards and they need to call the company the card is for. She then pulls a few of the same cards off of the display and opens them in front of customer service and proves to them that they all have the same issue. This does look like the card was manufactured defectively and the customer service rep acknowledged it, but why are they leaving it on the shelf for other people to buy it and be ripped off?

The Kabuto King inspired me. For those who don’t already know, 1 collector decided he was going to collect all the 1st edition Kabutos. Can any of my friends from the Boomer Generation answer this for me? Why are the Boomers so offended when ask to see their ID? This bank teller was explaining how she goes through this all the time. They always tell her that they’ve been banking there longer than she’s been alive. Showing an ID is just a simple measure to prevent fraud and theft, yet they yell at her for it. I ask because this happens to me all the time, even on the phone. Back at the pizza shop I would have an elderly man call in an order for food and most of the time he picks it up himself, no problem at all. However he started sending other people to pick it up as well as have other people calling the order. When the person picking up shows me his card which I recognize his name which had his photo on it, I won’t accept it without and ID as well, just a precaution. He then had to come all the way down there just to yell at me because obviously it’s for him and I shouldn’t have hassled him. I tried to explain to him when he calls it in and picks it up I know it’s him. However when others call it in and pick it up, I can’t verify if it’s actually legit or not, what if somebody stole his card and tried to use it. He still had an issue with it and explains that his grandkids should be able to use his card, I tell him that’s not how it works and if he kept giving my staff a hard time I would ban him from the store. I don’t need anybody threatening the workers over something meant to protect him. Should I just have let anybody use his card without verification at the shop? What if somebody did steal his card and spent his money, then he would have been mad at me for letting them do it.

Unbelievable. No it’s not but listen to this - He says he gave Tylers family the fing steakhouse receipt yesterday. Along with his business card and instructions on how to get the card carrier to give them the name on the receipt. Jesus. Can you imagine?? Tyler’s family handed it over to the defense attorney. So when this receipt comes back and it’s not Tyler‘s will he shut up then? Cant he be charged with like interference or some sort for harassing the families? He also had his attorney subpoena the credit card company!!! Then he goes on and say that the defensive attorney was giving him the stink eye. I bet she was. I bet she’s tired of his ass. This is getting to be ridiculous. I can’t even make this crazy stuff up.

I gave my bank card to my son to buy a few things. Unfortunately, he lost it without realizing it, and I had no idea it was missing. Then I received an unexpected call from a stranger asking, “Are you Kofi? Have you lost a bank card?” I was surprised, so I called my son, and he admitted he couldn’t find it. Thankfully, the kind person who found the card contacted a local radio station. The presenter, my good friend Eddie, gave him my number, and he personally returned the card to me. Moments like this remind me that there are still honest people in this world. I truly believe that when you do good, God has a way of sending good people into your life when you need them most. To the gentleman who returned my card, thank you.

Interestingly, those who assert they brought digitalisation and the Ghana Card to Ghana are unaware that the Ghana Card functions as a multipurpose card, capable of serving as a debit or prepaid card for the payment of goods and services. I do not blame them, because they were not involved in the design of the Ghana card in late 2012. The good news is that the visionary leader HE John Mahama is back to finish what he started. I know that walk! 🤣 I’ve done it many times, including that very pier in Cozumel. Those dock shoes have a “return to home” feature and his knees are no longer taking instructions. He still found his card. He still made the gangway. Security just waved him through like this is a recognized medical condition. Respect.

This goes to show just how intelligent people are. He recorded himself trying to purchase stuff with counterfeit $$, and then proceeds to just use his card once the cashiers say they can't take the cash. Aren't they supposed to call the cops if they receive counterfeit cash? Why the heck would you record it and share it online?
