This is sad mehn! A man identified as Zaharaddeen Zarumi Gusau swore by Allah that he personally wrote down the names of 10 people and the ransom amounts paid by their families for their release from bandits. Among them were those whom Sheikh Asadussunnah claimed to have secured through “peace negotiations” with the bandits. Zarumi alleged that the Sheikh and his team, said to have been sent through the Office of the NSA to negotiate with the bandits, instead of returning the victims to their families, took them to Abuja. He further claimed that, up until the release of his video yesterday, none of the victims’ relatives had been contacted, nor had the victims been taken to the hospital. Rather, the entire issue was politicized.
