This man has his American Bully dog at a park. The dog was sitting in a sit/stay training excercise. He’s had extensive training. He did have a leash on but his owner obviously didn’t have the leash in his hand, part of his continued training. As the owner walks back to him, a gentleman comes up and asks him to please put him on a leash and to hold the leash because there is a lot of distractions at the park. The owner replies “that is part of training.” The owner said “If I thought there was even a small chance he would harm a kid or react the wrong way, I wouldn't put him in that position. This isn't luck. This is hours and hours of real world training, consistency, and building him up around distractions the right way….. Breeds like American Bullies and similar dogs get judged before people even see them work, but this is what they're really about with the right leadership. Loyal, stable, and solid companions.” Some people said the gentleman who approached the owner was putting his own insecurities on a very well mannered dog. He had instant judgement. Others at the park complimented the owner on how well behaved his dog was. What a good boy that dog was. ❤️ Would you be upset if you were at the park with your child and saw this dog sitting there with his owner about 50 yards away? Do you think the owner was irresponsible? Do you think the gentleman had a right to be concerned and a right to remind the owner that there was a lot going on?

This animal control officer received a call that a dog attacked a child and tried to attack a second one. So the officer and his supervisor showed up. The plan was for the supervisor to tranquillize the dog and the officer would chase it. They showed up, found the dog, and the supervisor hit him with a tranquilizer and then the dog took off running and the chase was on. As you can see it was a very long chase but the officer kept pace (apparently he runs marathons) until the tranquilizer kicked in and the dog stopped and laid down. A tranquilizer can take up to 30 minutes and sometimes they require multiple doses depending on the dog. He said the dog looks to be a red golden/chow mix. He said the child had to get a couple of stitches but was going to be fine. The dog was quarantined and will be euthanized when the quarantine is over. I’m glad the child was alright. And I’m glad the officer was compassionate with the dog. Did you know it took that long for a tranquilizer to kick in? (I didn’t). Do you think if a dog attacks a person it should be an automatic euthanization?

My neighbor always walks the dog at all hours of the day, rain or shine. She has a huge dog she can’t control, it actually walks her most of the time. This guy here has no excuse letting his dog on a leash get away, that thing is tiny. Yet he thinks it’s the man’s fault that his dog got nudged. What would you do if your neighbors dog got loose and they blamed your dog reacting to it, he needs to get his dog under control and get a life. Anyways, the neighbor with the big dog was walking her dog and it got away from her and ran into the street. Another neighbor was coming home from work and didn’t have time to react to it, she ended up hitting the dog causing a good amount of damage to her car and scuffing up the dog pretty good. The lady walking her dog had a fit of course and blamed the neighbor for hitting her dog. The neighbor retorted that she wouldn’t have hit it if the lady had it under control and isn’t run into the street. The lady ended up calling the cops, the cops came and cleared the neighbor of wrong doing. There were plenty of witnesses that saw it and we all see the dog pulling her all the time anyways. After the accident we didn’t see the lady walking her dog much anymore, her oldest son would do it most of the time to his annoyance but it was a better thing, he could control it where as his mother could not. I didn’t want to involve myself in their argument but I did tell the lady it was her fault, and that she needs to pay for the other neighbors car. The dog was on a very long leash, with the woman standing several feet away. He turned around to talk to the dog owner, and they argued. So who is at fault? Should the dog owner have had her dog on a shorter leash? She had to have heard him coming.
