@RocketRacer69 @GreenJennyJones While we're waiting to Rejoin, maybe UK should establish an actual constitution to prevent this elected dictatorship shenanigans. It's subjects will then become citizens who have actual rights instead of a system more akin to feudalism where they have zero power to the Executive.

@GreenJennyJones ... that was always the conceit in plain sight Take Back Control was never for the People, it was for the Elite (who are groomed to believe it is their birth right to rule the country), the EU and democracy stood in the way. It seemed obvious at the time but so many fell for it🤷

@TrudyUnoWho @GreenJennyJones Sovereignty of parliament was an excuse for #brexit. Now they want to take away that sovereignty and be able to act on a whim, with no mandate for it and no scrutiny. IMO this, if allowed to happen will be the end of democracy.

@GreenJennyJones This speech illustrates why the referendum should not have been held. Too many people who one would have expected to be well aware of the effects of EU membership and the consequences of brexit, did not fully understand. How could the rest of us make an informed choice?
