The ring neck are funny. Birds are entirely different. They're like a dog that sits on your shoulder but only listens when it wants. Our Cockatiel would fly all through the house and land on the refrigerator to see what we were having for dinner. If it was something he wanted, he would just go for it. Not like dogs who wait. Birds take what they want.

Used to work in home repair. Gal had an African gray. At one point I start hearing him from the other room going, 'Uh huh. Yep...okay. Sure, sure. Alright.' This goes on for a few minutes & I suddenly realize he's repeating the 1/2 of the phone conversations he can hear from her.

Makes me mad to see so many Birds with trimmed wings so they cannot fly... this shit should be illegal.
