So, it's just like a normal roundabout, but with a zebra crossing at each entrance/exit? Hardly controversial.

Well done Sheffield council yet again be a back log of traffic in all directions effecting surrounding areas and endless accidents caused by cars having to slam on constantly because of cyclists. I dont get why cars on roads which they were intended for have least priority😂🤡

It won't work. Dutch drivers also cycle, so automatically have respect for cyclists on the road. UK drivers haven't grown up with this system and will not adapt to it. Then you have cyclists and pedestrians who will inevitably go the wrong way around it...

Why have people got a problem with this? There’s too many miserable cunts in this city who can’t stand anything new. Most of them moan about the council and the town centre but then moan even more if it’s changed in any way. Idiots

I love it how this is presented as some kind of an innovation, and people are like 'that's never going to work!'😄I mean this is how all roundabouts work e.g. in Finland, and honestly ANYTHING is better than the absolute chaos and destruction of the current UK roundabouts...

Cost 18 million. But they’re short of cash. That makes sense
