@JimA1964 Springfield had two rooms for 'Interrogation', a cold room painted white and a hot room painted black, with aircon of some kind in one, and a million electric heaters in the other. I ended up in hospital for a month afterwords.

This was quite unexpected: we were driving around in France's Somme département and suddenly we saw a sign "Chinese cemetery" in the middle of farmland. We went to check it out and it turns out it was a cemetery for 842 Chinese men brought here by the British during WW1 as part of the "Chinese Labour Corps." 150,000 men in total were brought to Europe (the immense majority in France) as part of these Chinese Labour Corps. Those men were working here in farmland and factories and, surprisingly, looking at the dates on the tombstones, most of them died AFTER the war ended, meaning they stayed here during several years after the end of the war. As the sign explains they were kept in a camp garded by the British and only had the right to leave the camp by groups guarded by a British officer, so much so that the locals considered them prisoners. My wife told me they had learned about this history at school in China but I personally learned about it just today. I had no idea so many Chinese labourers were brought to France and I certainly wouldn't have expected they were still toiling in camps after the war ended.

Being a Gen X kid I can admit that yes, I did this. And no, it wasn’t a bright idea, I’m pretty sure I still have scars from doing it. And my friends who saw me crash wanted to try it too and I’m pretty sure they still have scars too. 🤣🤣🤣

This is what I want to ask about the most. I want to know everything from start to finish. The first thing I have to admit is…. You will get jet lag. So sleepy. It’s the US… time zone totally flipped. And I went without telling my fans. Surprised them with “hi, America” Everyone was confused. Yes it was a photo I took in front of Valentino shop there. I went to the shop for fitting, that bow design. I liked it. I thought it was fun(?), cute and elegant. I also wanted to check which one my team prefer because they have to design the hair, makeup, and total look. If we can agree on this, then this is it. It’s the one everyone saw me wear at the met gala. The adjustments to fit me is made right there and then. Got dressed then got on the car. Was super excited. When I came downstairs, before get on the car…. Everyone (all were waiting for the car) was so stunning. On the car… then waited for the walk. Really excited… will it be like Cannes? What will it be like. And it was nothing like Cannes. Got of the car, took a deep breath, the. LETS GO. Then walk. When got back to the hotel, whewwww. It was way beyond anything I’d never imagined/expected. Did that really happened? After the event, when walked out, rose walked right next to me. I turned to her and was shocked. What to do? I complemented her ….. she was like thank you, so sweet… I wanted to drop to the ground right then and there. Was still jet lagged, very sleepy, but had to fight through it. It was another very memorable and fun experience.

Even as kids we knew that stealing was wrong yet another kid stole my bike. It was a big deal because we were poor, just came to this country for a few years and my parents saved up to get me a bike. I loved that thing, I used to ride it all around the neighborhood for hours. So naturally when somebody took it, I was devastated. Turned out it was another kid nearby and I was lucky enough to get it back. Many of my friends who had their bike stolen wasn’t so lucky. Just one of those things you live and learn, luckily for me I won’t have to deal with it with my kids, they don’t like riding bikes at all. Has this ever happened to you? Ever have your bike stolen? Ever get it back? I think everyone has had this happen at least one in their life, just something we all have to deal with I guess.

"It was right before the Kendrick thing so we never put it out, it was really funny interview sitting in the middle of arena. The Drake one was our next and you know that thing happened and then things happened and then boom... I dont think it put me in a weird position(the beef), I was with Drake, so it wasn't like a limbo...
