@ElegalSenpai Collecting bugs is typically something only boys do. His birthday is May 5th aka children's day a national holiday. Even after the time skip he is a minor (you turn adult at age 20, they changed it in 2022 though). It is as if Oda intentionally writes Luffy to be still a minor.
