This entire episode is Cinema!

Dunk took everything he could from lil dragon bitch and still managed to win the fight.

as an editor, it gave me the tinglies 🤣 "fuck, that was smooth"

Bruh this entire fuckin show is just gold. We FINALLY got a team that actually wants to make GRRMs story & not THEIR OWN! Couldn’t be happier!

He blood when his eye was struck!

That POV switch is chef's kiss! Felt like I was in the helmet with Dunk—total chaos immersion. HBO knocking it out of the park again! #AKOTSK

That first shot, with the camera flying from the back into this POV was incredible.

They did an excellent job of capturing the gritty, intimate aspect of Battle of the Bastards fight but took it to the next level by showing those first person shots. It’s exactly what I was hoping for

Dunk got absolutely whipped by Aerion. His size and toughness kept him alive.

This was the best battle of all of GOT universe.

I got battle of the bastards vibes fr

The whole production has been out of this world. Still can’t believe I’m watching a tv adaption of the hedge knight.

Dunk got absolutely wrecked for most of the episode, until...

Ser Duncan wearing his helmet:

OAK AND IRON GUARD ME W-ahhhhhhh fuck

It really was - I was worried for a second the flashback was going to take up the entire episode, but it ended up coming back. The fight did not go how I expected!

this season and hopefully what follows could at least wash some of that mud left by GoT last two seasons

I don’t know people see shit in those helmets.

can you post Ser Arlan saying "get up" and immediately switches to Dunk getting up from the mud?

Ser Duncan the brave!

We did it already in 1960 AD in Poland, in the movie "Krzyżacy". 📽 🇵🇱

That was spectacular episode. Difficult to watch I have to say. Now it all makes sense why Joffrey was so excited to see the the 4 pages of Duncan The Tall in the book. He stood tall.

The audio from the other people on the field switching back to Duncan’s audio with the ringing in his ear to the blurred vision … bro that fight scene was amazing probably one of the most accurate depictions of a fight like that.. struggling not pretty straight BRAWLING a will

This battle is like drunk men battle.

Loved it, BUT... Ser Dunk took way too many wounds. 1. Not in the book 2. He wouldnt survive them Dagger was flung away, not through his hand. No sword in the leg. Should've shown how each of the combatants was faring w/ a couple seconds each one. Book described it.

Absolute poetry in motion with a violent ending!

Low key that dude Aerion Targaryen can fight.

Shows you don’t need fancy CGI to be effective

epic. reminded me of Doom 1st person scene
