This much expansion of the strike zone is going to decrease offense ultimately. Which is the exact opposite of what MLB is going for with all the recent rule changes. At least 50% of the ball should be in the box for it to be considered a strike. This ain’t tennis…

If that little is a strike. And that much is outside the zone. It's a ball. A seam doesn't make it a strike
