He’s really not a heel, he’s an anti-hero…just doing what he’s absolutely justified in doing. I consider a heel to be those who talk down to everyone around them and the crowd. McIntyre isn’t doing that.

God this is SO GOOD! Literally proves in his characters mindset he didn’t turn heel, he’s simply justified in his actions and his “true fans” know this.

From Drew's perspective, he's the hero slaying the dragon terrorising the village, which is bloodline and Jey represents that to Drew. He looks at Sami and Seth, as people who betrayed themselves by working with Jey, and Cody as the man who brought the bloodline (Jey) to Raw.
