So there have been many instances where criminal bad apple Chinese physical #Gold traders who bought VAT exempt physical #Gold, and exported this #Gold out of China. They fraudulently filed and received VAT refunds from the Chinese government (even though they never paid VAT for this #Gold). This new set of Chinese government #Gold tax rules will stop these illegal activities and make exporting #Gold out of China unprofitable when the SGE #Gold price is equal to or higher than the Western #Gold price. So this will probably stop any #Gold flowing from China to the LBMA. This means China can continue to suck physical #Gold out of the LBMA, but it will be very unlikely for China to export #Gold to the LBMA or anywhere else outside of China. Here is why: 1) Chinese ETFs and Funds will focus their physical #Gold buying at the SGE to enjoy 13% VAT EXEMPTION. 2) Chinese citizens will focus all their physical #Gold bars buying via direct SGE investment standard #Gold bars buying & withdraws or via Chinese state-owned commercial banks investment standard #Gold bars buying & withdraws to enjoy 13% VAT EXEMPTION. 3) A big portion of Chinese citizens will buy VAT EXEMPT Chinese state-owned commercial banks investment standard #Gold bars and bring them to goldsmiths to make #Gold jewelry out of them. The withdrawal price of physical #Gold from China Construction bank today is 924 RMB Yuan/gram which is the equivalent of 4019 USD/Troy Ounce.

This Chinese distributor is selling these #Silver SGE slabs at 15 kg (482 Troy ounces) each. They will probably sell out fast.
