It's because your reaction as an interviewer was so lovely. You didn't jump in to keep the convo going. You just let his words hang there, and you FELT them. It was an absolutely gorgeous moment.

@RealMattFradd Man, I must confess that first it hit me, I was alone watching the video, and it just brought out my tears. Second, I decided just to watch my wife with out her noticing me, and I fell for her again. Thanks for this. PD: the moment, the silence, uffff, Godly.

Matt, you are such a great interviewer, thank you for allowing this moment, must interviewers would have stepped on this profound moment by responding or asking a question, you have such a gift to allow the silence it let it happen organically. Incredible gift

I’ve seen this so many times and each “it’s as beautiful as a crucifix” I get overwhelmed with emotion. True love.

I couldn’t love this more. Peter Kreeft going viral on social media! What a truly great man. He played an important role in my coming to faith in Christ as a young student at Boston College taking his class on C. S. Lewis. God bless this man.

Because it was the picture of what true love is that is so missing and most don’t experience, been married for 42 years. I cried because I understood that moment is ahead for one of us to face alone

Hello @RealMattFradd God bless you and Dr Kreeft. This is The Most Beautiful and Profound Description Of Marriage and Love I have ever Heard. Matt my parents Marriage Only Lasted 11 months. They hated Each other. How the Catholic View Marriage Is Blowing my Mind

Matt, his response was so profound, but your reaction is what made me cry.

THIS! So beautiful. Husband and I both cried.

Beautiful and heartbreaking for anyone who's had a difficult marriage.

This brought tears. Told my husband and showed him the clip last night. I said even Matt Fradd was about to cry. This is so beautiful and Peter Kreeft is right.

Matt! Your transformation from the asking of the question through your prolonged silence . . . so much there. Truth, conviction, sorrow, resolve . . . all so honest. Thank you for modeling the imperfectly striving man who presses forward through the trial for the hope of holiness

The doctor perfectly described a marriage, loving a spouse through a devastating illness and seeing your dear spouse after she’s entered eternity. No greater love. I lived this. 💔

Ben Shapiro show today 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Seeing it posted everywhere. A beautiful moment that has touched so many❤️

The whole podcast is fantastic

I’ve almost finished this episode. It’s a really great one. I hope my husband listens to it. I’m enjoying hearing all of the book/movie/show recommendations :)

Peter Kreeft, yes? Genius.

As it well should be- what gift Dr. Peter Kreeft is 🙏🙏

Simply beautiful and profound. Maybe the best clip I’ve ever seen.

Thank you for letting that moment sit for a second

Years ago I had a book called "Taxi Driver Wisdom". It's a collection of adages from cab drivers. One that stayed with me was "When you marry you have to think 'I might bury this person'".

I've only recently discovered your podcast as I am becoming a Catholic and I am so grateful for you! I listen to you every night. Someday when I get caught up it will be difficult to wait for the new episodes.

I was listening as I shopped at Costco - had to hit pause and wipe away tears, too. You handled it perfectly.

And for good reason

@Erin_Molan So true the soul is the essence of everything valuable to our heart ❤️

“Beautiful as a Crucifix”. Just…WOW. ❤️🙏❤️

This is indeed proof that true love does exist.

@undertaker @GlennJacobsTN

You will never know how much you love em until they are no longer there. Love her soul, not her body.

I enjoyed listening to this ❤️

Dr Kreeft's work speaks volumes- happy to see his wisdom is getting noticed! Great interview- love how you allow silence

Please stop crying.... please.

It's beautiful. I can't imagine my wife passing before me.
