This clip highlights the difference between Caicedo & Lavia when they are both asked to play the no.6 role Caicedo has the temperament of a 'hunter' who prefers to put out fires when he anticipates danger or a counter pressing opportunity. Lavia's temperament is reminiscent to that of an... 'anchor' who prefers to hold his position and screen the backline. The former prefers to operate in a man oriented fashion, while the latter prefers to operate zonally while respecting space more. In a nutshell, Caicedo is like Kante while Lavia is more like Partey if you want a more clearer stylistic similarity. So I have come to the conclusion that if Caicedo is your primary holding 6 then your team's midfield balance would likely be capped long term especially as a possession based side. And, the way you always keep the most important person for last, the fact that the apogee of his acceptance speech was about Connor.. he had me sobbing, cause of how completely unguarded and raw Hudson is here. The way the emotion is slowly building up, as he is going down that list, his voice cracking a bit, his hands shaking. And he can feel it slowly, tears forming in his eyes, tears he is holding in the best he can. As he is holding that award, so firmly, that last name on his list, the one that felt like an awakening. He is the one he'd want to hold right there (or rather be held 🥺). The one who is more than a scene partner, more than a best friend, his "emotional support person in life", his "soulmate", his anchor even. Cracking a joke or two to try to release a bit of pressure, but when comes the point of saying his name "to the honorary Canadian Connor Storrie, I share this award with you." and not find his face, his eyes, his smile in front of him, the absence is screaming in his chest and the tears are closer than ever. 🚗 Another Vehicle Dumped on Our Streets Following the successful removal of the Renault truck, we now have another vehicle that appears to have been dumped, this time at the junction of Coleshill Road and Ventnor Avenue. The vehicle is visibly damaged and has been left in a position that is causing an obstruction close to the junction. While England does not yet have the same widespread pavement parking restrictions seen in London or Scotland, parking that causes an obstruction or creates a danger to other road users is a separate matter. As your local councillor, I will be reporting this vehicle to the local police so that appropriate action can be taken. If you are the owner of this vehicle, I strongly urge you to remove it immediately before enforcement action is considered. Our streets are not a dumping ground for abandoned or damaged vehicles. Thank you to the residents who continue to report these issues to me.

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtron

Here, with Workman on second, Zach McKinstry hits a fly to left that lands, and Workman is thrown out 7-5 at third base. This was ruled a single, and the question has been asked as to why. First, this is the correct scoring, as this is a single. If this were a ground ball to short, and the runner is out 6-5 at third on a ball that would have otherwise been a hit, this would have been a fielder's choice, and the difference is in the wording on rule 9.05(b)(3), which says that you do not score a hit when a: (3) pitcher, the catcher or any infielder handles a batted ball and puts out a preceding runner who is attempting to advance one base or to return to his original base, or would have put out such runner with ordinary effort except for a fielding error. There's been an unfortunate incident in LA with a Uhaul plowing into a crowd of anti-Khameini protestors This man should never have been able to get near the crowd with a uhaul but some info about the situation seem to be - signage on the truck is anti both the shah and the current ayatollah. is this his actual position or is this camouflage to have gotten into the protest to perpetrate an attack? "no Shah, No regime, No Mullah" Mullah is a religious leader so possibly referring to the current leader and not a king like Pahlavi Timeline appears to be - anti-Khameini protestors try to rip signs off his vehicle and are bashing on the windows and eventually his passenger side window is broken - guy in uhaul then stutterstops forward into the crowd, eventually accelerating further, then stuttering again, then full stopping down the road - there is a man surfing on top of the uhaul in the 3rd video, below I have posted another video showing the man on top of the uhaul trying to take the posters off the side, so he is likely part of the anti-Khameini protestors - uhaul driver is taken into custody by police is this a case of police not having the street sufficiently blocked off and so a guy was able to get a uhaul in here? The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.

hypergamy is going to hit women like a 50-megaton thermonuclear bomb, and the reason is because these women are hypergamous themselves female hypergamy hit society first due to the natural supply/demand gap between the sexes, and it's certainly caused somewhat of a death spiral of intersexual relations, but the outcome will not be this hypercompetition between men for women, but rather men checking out of the game entirely as the juice stops being worth the squeeze porn is only getting more immersive and sex bots are on the way, and social media exposes men to 10/10 women nonstop; why then would men break their backs for a crumb of attention for mediocre women? even men with genuine value to bring struggle in the current dating market, the fatigue is beginning to set in for women there are two options: a) make the squeeze easier, or b) make the juice more worthwhile a) would require that they lower their standards and expectations, make themselves more accessible, accept a man with less to offer when they know someone better is out there they don't have that in them, so they resort to b) b) means making the juice tastier, it mean tightening up the juice's nasolabial folds and waist-to-hip ratio. it means injecting the juice with hyaluronic acid fillers and, when that isn't enough to get ahead, it means making real changes to the juice's recipe like getting structural surgery there is a very small supply of beautiful people on this planet, but in the age of the internet that small supply is accessible to everyone at all times instead of being a random beautiful stranger you may rarely come across on the street. everyone’s perceptions of what is accessible to them is being distorted, and even if only 1% of people are truly beautiful themselves that is enough for 99% of the subpar masses to feel like they can share. past a certain point of abundance a person cannot comprehend the difference between 10 million people and 1 billion, it’s just a lot. if 1 billion compete for 10 million it still feels like an infinite prize pool. this has corrupted women tremendously, but it is absolutely going to and already beginning to do the same with men as men get more and more immersed in and addicted to cheap hits of sexual dopamine such as porn, social media, online dating (which is a corrupting force for both genders) they will be less and less willing to settle for a girl who is any less than perfect because quite frankly, she probably just won’t be worth it to them anyway there is already a long cultural precedent for women going to extreme measures to looksmaxx for male attention, if men start to become fed up with them and hypergamy increases on both ends the blackpill will explode with women. already women know when they are left on delivered by chad that if they were prettier this wouldn’t be happening, they are beginning to make this observation en masse and it is driving the rise in radfem and “femcel” (i.e. girl who can’t bag chad) ideology. women are realizing that body positivity and self-love was a scam, and that looks are law i’m betting all in on the upcoming female blackpill trend, putting my stock in it. i’d keep an eye out for it because it has already begun and it’s only going to get bigger

Apparently, I saw this video online and I decided to share. What this worker is applying is called bitumen, or what many of us know as bituminous coating. Most people think a wall is a solid, impenetrable block, but in reality, it is more like a sponge. Concrete and blocks have microscopic pores that pull water from the earth through a process we call capillary action. This thick black substance is the shield that stops that water from climbing up into the house. It is not about making the wall look good because this part will be buried under the dirt forever. It is about creating a skin that water cannot breathe through. When do you need to do this? The need for this arises because the soil is a very aggressive environment. Water is not your only enemy.. The ground also contains salts and sulfates that want to eat away at the cement. If this moisture finds its way to the steel bars inside the columns, those bars will start to rust. And when steel rusts, it expands, and that expansion is what cracks the concrete from the inside out. This coating is the only thing standing between your foundation and that kind of slow destruction. Thats is why if you see wet patches at the bottom of your walls inside your house, it usually means someone skipped this step or did it poorly during construction. You can apply this anytime you are building parts of a structure that will stay in contact with the ground. It is common in areas where the water table is high or where the soil stays damp for most of the year. This is a one-shot opportunity. Once you backfill the soil, you can never go back to fix it without a lot of expense and a lot of digging. It is about having the foresight to protect the heart of the building while it is still exposed. Please don’t ignore this if you need to. What’s in your hand? 🖐️ You might have noticed that your toddler can be VERY literal. Which actually makes a lot of sense. As young children grow into language, they must develop basic vocabulary before mastering the more nuanced meanings of our figures of speech. So if you ask your toddler “what’s up,” they will - for a time - be more likely to check out the ceiling than to explain what they’ve been doing. Asked what’s in his hand, this little one has a perfectly reasonable reaction: if there is something IN my hand it must be very small… and to see it I’m going to need to move this giant golf club out of the way. 😀 Note that when dad tweaks his question ever so slightly, asking what he is “holding,” our hero answers the question without any problem. Wondering if you are “quad dominant” in your throw and if you should change it? Maybe you shouldn’t 🤷‍♂️ A coach’s post coming from Austin Roark 🚀⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ One question I get from a lot of athletes is whether they should change their lower half because their knee is over their toe during their loading phase down the mound. ⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ The biggest thing that I look for when trying to figure out if it is an issue or not is to see how they are able to get out of that position. Some guys are able to leverage and rotate from that position extremely well, which then I would say that it’s not an issue.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ On the other hand, there are some guys who will get out of this position by driving extension out of their back leg, killing their ability to rotate their pelvis and get it in an open position into landing.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ This is when I would suggest trying to make a change. I think a lot of people jump into certain ideologies that you shouldn’t do certain things because it’s “inefficient” or it looks “wrong”. ⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ Take a look at these pitchers shown in the video. All 3 of these high level arms have some degree of knee flexion over their toe. Now, granted, they all have insane levers to help them, but the way they are moving is what makes them efficient in how they throw. ⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ I think if you told Dustin May that he had to hold a vertical shin down the mound, it would be a disaster and mess a lot of things up upstream that would impact him in a negative way.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ The big takeaway here is that there are no absolutes. One thing that may look inefficient to you could be the thing that makes someone else very efficient.⠀⁠ -⠀⁠ When trying to figure out if you should change something about someone's delivery, make sure to look at the entire unit as a whole and don’t jump into any quick changes.

This is something else. A restaurant that would charge extra for: Silverware insurance? Booth fee? Straws? Table cleaning fee? I'm surprised they didn't add a fee for printing the flippin' receipt! And then they have the audacity to add the tip in the bill as well and leave room for another tip on top of that! This is clearly a prank! It has to be! But if it wasn't, what would your reaction be to seeing a bill like this come to your table? 😏😬
