Kind of happy for Mikal Bridges today. His mother worked for the Sixers organization when he was drafted (10th overall) by Philly. The Sixers traded him during his post-draft press conference (to the Suns for Zhaire Smith and a pick). I didn’t have the heart to let him know he was traded in the presser. No one else did either. It was bizarre to see in a Suns hat roughly 48 minutes later. Mikal has been to multiple conferences finals and previously with the Suns, to the NBA Finals. He’s undoubtedly one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. Today’s Knicks victory was a home game for the Knicks in more ways than one.
