It hurts that Democrats were unable to force Trump to fix Obamacare. But Democrats still got more out of this shutdown than any prior shutdown, going back decades. The sad truth is that most government closures DO end with proponents of the shutdown coming up short regarding their demands. (In fact: name ONE shutdown in the past 30 years where the shutdown proponents got everything they wanted — or even something CLOSE to what they wanted. Go ahead. Ask chat. I‘ll wait.) So we didn’t win on the POLICY of fixing premiums. (At least, not yet. That may not happen until after the midterms, unfortunately.) But we did win on the POLITICS. We centered skyrocketing healthcare costs as a major issue. And Democrats made the GOP own the pain of higher premiums. That’s not nothing. The GOP now is firmly on the wrong side of an 80/20 issue. That’s cold comfort for the people whose premiums are going up. But the Republicans proved they don’t CARE very much about the pain of the American people — shutdown or no shutdown. Trump and the GOP proved they were willing to let planes fall from the sky, American children starve and federal workers get evicted from their homes— rather than find a way for you to see a doctor. That level of callousness put liberals in a bind. At some point Democrats were going to have to decide how many actual, HUMAN LIVES — federal workers, airline passengers, hungry children— they were willing to risk to make Trump look bad. Because the hope of forcing Trump to save Obama subsidies were fading fast. I wish Democrats could have won more with this one tactic. But at least we advanced the process of fixing healthcare. And while most Americans will be grateful to have fully functioning airports for Thanksgiving, they wont forget which party refused to take their health costs seriously. No, that’s not everything. But it’s sure not nothing.

How is it that Democrats looked at files at the Treasury Department a year ago under the Biden Administration that showed a massive amount of wire transfers going into Epstein’s bank account, yet none of those Democrats chose to investigate those transfers? How is that possible? And … how is it that only now is it important for them to know about these transfers. You’d think they would have been concerned that maybe Trump had given Epstein money, yet they didn’t investigate when they had the chance. Odd right? During the Biden Administration Democrats literally had all the control they needed yet no investigations happened. Ghislane Maxwell was tried and found guilty during Biden’s reign of indifference. Someone got a judge to seal all the pertinent information and to date this judge has refused to unseal the info. But now, when they are secure in knowing no names will be released have they crawled out of their black hole to demand answers under the Trump Administration. So they can suggest that Republicans are hiding the truth when it’s their judge that won’t release the files. It’s a simple answer, Democrats are hypocrites. Like it or not. Just like the current shutdown people are suffering through. Dems want the illegals in our country covered for healthcare. As Democrats and the mainstream media blame Trump for everything, Scott Jennings dropped a rude awakening on them. On CNN, the panel went quiet when Jennings reminded them that Democrats, not Trump, have been in power for 16 of the last 20 years! “She [Kamala[ is in the White House right now. Democrats have controlled the White House for 12 of the last 16 years ... How do you explain all of the problems that will be solved by the person who is currently in there for the last three and a half years, who is supposed to already be working on solving it?” Jennings asked. If you’ve been in office for the last 3.5 years, and your boss was in charge for eight years before that, and nothing has been solved, how do you expect us to believe you’ll fix anything now?
