It all comes back to weak and inconsistent officiating and daft tinkering with rules and definitions. It wasn’t so long ago that everyone knew what a foul was, what a handball was and what a dive was. Now it’s all “subjective”.

If there is video evidence of a player cheating and it isn't enforced during the game and the result stands anyway. There needs to be post-match repercussions, red and yellow cards, or one match ban, giving to players even if it's after the game.

The league should do reviews of games and issue disciplinary actions against players for conduct that is detrimental to the game. Video evidence should be used against some of these cheats after the game.
