Why not paint it all before setting it up.

I hope kids don’t live in this house. This shelf is a potential Fatal risk.

1970’s college poverty chic

I hope this people doesn’t have kids in that house.

you want to know how you know it’s fake? watch the font on her shirt throughout the vid

For safety, on levels 3 and 4, you need to wire each of the cinder blocks to a stud in the wall. This can be done relatively invisibly. However, any earthquake can cause this structure to fall, and if a falling cinder block hits someone it can seriously hurt or possibly kill them. Military families with lots and lots of books have been using this method for decades. You all tell me, is 40,000 pounds of books (not including those in the office) a lot to move from one household to another?

YOU COULD SIMPLY SPRAY PAINT THE STONE BLOCKS BEFORE PLACING THEM INTO THE ROOM, MUCH EASIER

Tell your AI that you paint and stain *BEFORE* you put it together 😀

Had this in my first apartment back in the 80’s, not so high it would kill me im an earthquake though

Just get a goddamn carpenter.. how dumb can a person be ?

A little push by mistake from any adult or a kid will make whole structure fall and may seriously injure someone. Yup, a beautiful concept indeed. Will remain a concept.

Painting before set up would make sense

If it is not fixed to wall [video does not show that] that is shit design as when it falls on child's head it could end up with fatality...

How many shirts did she use for this one video?

I'm guessing it's not called the San Andreas bookcase.

Until it crashes on your head

Nice design concept but the stability of the structure needs to be improved, probably the cement blocked should be swapped with a wooden block design and then fixed on the wall.

ohhh wow

Did I miss the part where the wall anchors were installed, or is piece of furniture just waiting for some unfortunate toddler to think it looks like fun to climb? Don't ask how I know...

The problem would be if a child touches it. All will fall off!

Too unstable. It'll fall over in a pretty short time.

It’s nice until it falls.

@GraceGym_ It actually looks quite dangerous. 😂

Her shirt change more times then Trump changed wives😳

Wouldn't it be easier to paint everything ahead of stacking them?

If you had oiled and painted the components before assembly the result would have been better.

地震がない国だから出来る発想。 とても素敵です。 日本じゃ、まず「転倒」を考えてしまいます。

@GraceGym_ Not safe with feral kids or pets in your home.

She is innovative yena.

sometimes simple concepts are the most beautiful like flipping the stock market with #SPX6900

Sigh. Before Ikea, every kid that lived on campus in college built the same exact shelf. The difference is we were smart enough to use milk crates instead of cinder blocks.

Cool, but if that thing falls on you...oh, boy.

@GraceGym_ Paint and lacquer first then install
