Bladder stones (vesical calculi) are hard mineral deposits that form in the bladder, usually because urine is not completely emptied. Common causes Bladder outlet obstruction especially benign prostatic enlargement (BPH) Urinary retention / incomplete bladder emptying Neurogenic bladder Chronic or recurrent urinary infection Foreign bodies or urinary catheters Less commonly, metabolic abnormalities or stones migrating from the upper urinary tract

This video depicts Drainage After Bladder Stone Removal via Lithotripsy Lithotripsy Lithotripsy = breaking the stone into smaller fragments. For bladder stones, this is commonly performed endoscopically: Cystoscope → stone visualised → lithotripsy → fragments extracted → bladder inspected Energy sources can include: Laser Pneumatic lithotripsy Mechanical lithotripsy The aim is to achieve a stone-free bladder while minimising bladder/urethral trauma.

My father in law is on dialysis for more than 2 months. Every week he went up to hospital. Is there any way he can saved or he needs to stay on dialysis...

Being on dialysis for 2 months doesn’t necessarily mean it’s permanent. It depends on the cause of his kidney failure. If it was acute kidney injury, the kidneys may recover and dialysis can sometimes be stopped. If he has advanced chronic kidney disease, long-term dialysis or a transplant may be needed. His nephrologist can assess recovery based on urine output, blood tests and the underlying cause. He should not stop dialysis without medical advice. They are the right people to speak with and ask the questions. They would not keep anything from the family unless your father in-law tells them to. Wishing your father-in-law a full recovery. 🙏

Thank you

Fascinating video! Watching stone fragmentation and retrieval through a miniature track never gets old. Excellent technique on display here
